Phangan Bayshore Resort Koh Phangan, Haad Rin

My experience at this hotel was quite frustrating. We had a major issue with our booking and the front desk staff was not helpful at all, leading to a wasted day trying to resolve things. The resort's facilities weren't what I had hoped for, the room had a musty smell, and overall, it just felt overpriced for the quality. The location is good for the full moon party, but outside of that, there isn't much to do here.

I stayed at this resort for a few days during the half moon festival, and it was an overall great experience. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, which made it perfect for enjoying the sunrise. The restaurant offered delicious Thai food with a nice view, but the rooms could use some updates, as they felt a bit dated. The pool area was lovely, but the room I had was not quite as advertised, affecting my overall satisfaction.

This resort offers an exceptional experience with its prime location just steps from the beach and an outstanding level of service. The staff, particularly Sam and Iren, make you feel like more than just a guest with their warm and personal approach. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, providing a nice escape. However, some facilities could use an update, and the dining prices were a bit steep, despite the quality of the food.

I had a mixed experience at this resort. On the positive side, the staff, especially Sam the driver and Iren at reception, truly made my stay more pleasant with their warm smiles and attentiveness. However, the overall state of the facilities left much to be desired, including mould in the bathroom and a poorly maintained pool area. It's unfortunate because the location had great potential.
